First Assembly in the Gym and Student Council

Wow! Our third week has already flown by. We had our Friday assembly in the gym this morning for the first time since the floors have been finished, and it looks amazing in there! If your child is awarded Student of the Week, I will send you an email letting you know so you can attend the assembly. So keep an eye out for that!

We are now beginning campaigns for Student Council. The grade 4s will be able to vote for the President, Vice-President, and Secretary (from grades 5 and 6). There is also the chance for two of our grade 4s to be classroom representatives at the Student Council Meetings. We will vote for our reps next week!

Due Dates

Just a reminder that Scholastic orders are due Monday, September 18. Also, school clothing orders are due Thursday, September 21. Have a great weekend!

Welcome!

Hello and welcome to our Grade 4 blog! This will be a place for me to share information with you, as well as give you updates on what we are learning in class. We have already had an exciting first week, and I am looking forward to this second week ahead!

Some important dates ahead are:

School photo day for our class is on September 13. Sibling pictures will be taken on September 12 (please note that if you would like sibling pictures, you must pre-register ahead of time for them). 

There is no school on Friday, September 15 as it is a PD day.
